Rescued Fur Patch Purses
A delightful handcrafted accessory to match an elegant outfit or add a touch of rustic elegance to your favorite blue jeans.
Every component of these unique purses (except thread and fixatives used in assemblage) is rescued material: The fur patches from a furrier’s discarded scraps, cloth lining from outworn clothing, buttons from mulched wood, and yarn from knitting-project remnants. The flaps are secured by a braided and tasseled yarn twist; the sturdy braided-yarn straps are long enough to knot or bow for carrying as a handbag, around the waist, or across the shoulder.
